                                                 KALAKAD THOTHATHRI VADHYAR  (  21  ) 

                                                             In      the year 1970  KTV's Shashtiabhdha poorthy  was celabrated in a grand manner  arranged by us sons and daughter Sankari,  well attended to by a large number of invitees from far and near and assisted and supported by local brahmins at large.!

Three days prior to that Maharudram was performed with 133 vaithikas  ,chanting Rudrajapam daily,preceded by Mahanyasam.and allied homams. The main hall of the house could not  accommoate  all.  The occasion was made grander by combining our uncle Mahadeva Mama's Shashtiabhdhapoorthy also ,in our house itself  he being elder to KTV by a day. Stars are Avittam and Sathayam. At that time Bhanu had completed one year and Srimathi was about to complete one year. A grand pandhal was errected in front of our house as if for a marriage .Gomathi sankara Dheekshithar, .Periyanna's parents in law .my parents in law and host of relatives attended.  Krishnan and Sathi were yet to get married Sengalipuram Sri.Narayana Dikshithar , (the younger brother of the   Upanyasa Chakravarthi  Sri.Anantharama Dhikshithar )  was in Madurai some time earlier and without waiting for an invitation ,offerd to come with his group and stay for four days and perform upanyasam all tha days .  Kalakad  Ramanarayana bhagavathar performed music concert!

           In 1981 . all of us went to celabrate Bhava's  Upanayanam in Calkutta.KTV and KP  made another  trip  in 1984 to Bombay.At that time ASK was in Siddarth Apts Napian Sea Road Road and TBJ was in  Carmel apts in the opposite row Road in Bombay.After this trip, due to physical exhaution and age and due to his own aachaaraanushtaanaas which prevented him taking food through out train journeys physically KTV began to become weaker. in the meantime they had to make one or two more trips ,which  I  shall explain In the next. Tablets , injections started and on the advice of Dr. Varadharajan he was tested for  heart enlargement taking barium meal  x-ray . By then Krishnan , Mangalam,Sathi and Sita all stayed together in Tollygunj area of Calcutta ,Krishnan was working in I O C and Sathi in D B K Electronics. Periya mama was is in Chennai GkW .He was visiting Kalakad when he came to south on official visits but it could not be frequent.A stage came when KTV needed rest which he failed to take.He needed medical treatment which he delayed , . things made more difficult for me taking care.! There was one person  among  our relatives who always is an adept in mincing words ( like Ramana Maharshi ) who was with us for one day  . A message was passed on through him by KP which he failed to convey. As he was leaving he gave a passing reference to the message.  The message sent by KP was KTV was seriously ill at that time.KP wanted me to come to Kalakad immediately.The message lost its value because of the delay.KTV  felt angry with me for noncompiance of the message.,which was not informed . Not to my expectation , Periyamama came to Thirunelveli  and took me to Kalakad without my preparation , without informing the real need of the trip.KTV was talking  to him but not me. I had to explain my position in very bad shape ! At a stage I had to argue with both of them.I told KTV that there after if anything is wrong with him you need not inform me if you do not have faith in me.For you only I took my services in Thirunelveli and have been coming every week end,. I can come here in one hour notice which others cannot do.They both understood me. I hope you would have by now guessed the relative who is completely responsible for this negative development !
