                                                  KTVand KP had  to make another trip to to Bombay to attend the marriage of one Gopalaiyer who was staying in the same flat as a neighbour to TV in Triplicane.The girl's case was a very difficult one horoscopically to start with.Under the direction and advice of KTV ,Gopalaiyer went to Ramaeswaram with all nis relatives and  performed the stipulated pariharams as the horoscope demanded .Within a few months the marriage got fixed .Gopalaiyer stipulated that the marriage would be conducted only in KTV's presence in order to honour him. KTV respected his invitation went  with KP. It should be in September 1984  and after attending the marriage he made a long stay at Bombay due to a lot of persons belonging to Kalakad who had settled in Bombay for good making their fervant appeal to visit them.This time he spent about a month for them. Stay was not a problem for him because ASK and Sankari were there in Bombay ,Napian Sea Road . Sidharth Apartment.They stayed there right upto the end of October 1984. All of us remember that the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi  was assassinated on 31st Octuber 1984 .KTV was there in Bombay and left for south in a day or two.

                                 He had completed 74 by then and the frequent travels and irregular food , skipping of food during travels etc began to affect his health. More than anything else his non cooperation in taking medicines and his obstinacy aggrevated  the situation..Returning from Chennai reaching Thirunelveli station , he did not make it a point to stay at Thirunelveli for rest but sent word through some known person to pack the meals in a tiffin carrier and bring to the bus ! I did not know why! Usha and myself went to the bus stand and found them inside a bus ready to move. We were fortunate in seeing them and requested them   to get down and come home. I could not speak much because three of my students are inside the bus. So, Usha spoke to both appealing to them.She argued that . reaching the place taking bath and taking food etc would take another three hours. We had also taken a flask of coffee .He was kind enough to drink it . We know both  are hungry.KP has nothing to say or decide.The bus moved.The conductor of the bus is familiar to us . I had requested him to take their care.  He also knows KTV because of his prominance.He promised that after reaching Kalakad  he will arrange a taxi put heir luggages and send them home .He did.

                  KALAKAD THOTHA THRI VADYAR ( 3 )                                       NR had three daughters and no sons.The first son in law stayed with NR.  The second    daughter died young leaving a male child. The third daughter was living with her husband in a nearby village and made occasional visits to her parent's house. As time passed NR was checking the old records regarding his landed properties .He was so rich that he was owning  around  800 acres of wet lands of  paddy fields  in addition to other dry lands and groves.He was cross  checking the tally of produce from different lands.The employees in charge of these matters like accoutants and other servants could not give convincing answers to him.
