                                               K TV 's  social activities  from 1945 onwards ie only when he was only 35 years old made him too busy a man , always surrrounded by people coming either for horoscopic consultaton or seeking for some other help; In addition, there were also some friends of his , who come and sit and just spend their time ,; Perhaps this might have given relaxation to KTV from the enormous  brain work he was having.For most of these   persons two /three times chewing and afternoon coffee are almost certain.in our  house! The way of village life ! As I have written earlier he had his golden hands in Sriramanavami ,Sankarajayanthi , Gokulaashttami, Vaikahthashtami ,Aekaadasi bhajani  Brahmin community Association in each of which he had a stamp of authority.At ,the election time , whether in the Panchayat level or State Assembly, the candidates would come and meet him in order to get his blessings for the win and  to obtain the brahmin votes which he could influence.Of course, there was receiving Shringeri pontiffs was a dear  caūse for  him ..By nature ,the village people who were not exposed to outside world due to minimum connection with it were usually timid and most often faced difficulties when they were confronted with outsiders and officials.  In this respect, KTV was altogether a different.person. 

              Once, some Christian  priest  had a four days programme at Kalakad  in order to propagate Christianity  .Pandals were erected in the heart of the village   and a number of Christians spoke at meetings  held , tarnishing the image of Hindu religion  using unpalatable words , not to the liking of the people.   Though the Christians formed only a microscopic minority, Hindus did not have the guts to question.   Many  Hindus approached KTV to intervene , He climbed on the dias and  informed the speakers  that if they continued like that , this pandal will not be there anymore. They understood and  changed their tone  in preaching. ,       People were very happy about him   

                 Another  incident worth mentioning is follows  Some person belonging to thaevar community had some dispute with him in some land deal by which he wanted usurp the entire land from some other party  which  KTV stood against . Consequently, he became emimical and tried to eliminate KTV by unfair means.He arranged to prepare a big doll on which with the help of some wizard  infused some evil spirit on the doll and placed in front of our house in a moonlit  midnight. There was  a possibility that KTV alone had a chance of  looking at, more than anybody else and if a person sees the doll and get frightened. the ill effect will be he or she will become paralytic and ultimately succumb.This was the contriver's idea. but he was disappointed. KTV actually saw the doll but was not afraid .With the help of one of his friends he carried  the doll to a tank made into pices and pulps ;  Within ten days that thaevar became paralytic .This incident is as told by our Mother.

                  KALAKAD THOTHA THRI VADYAR ( 3 )                                       NR had three daughters and no sons.The first son in law stayed with NR.  The second    daughter died young leaving a male child. The third daughter was living with her husband in a nearby village and made occasional visits to her parent's house. As time passed NR was checking the old records regarding his landed properties .He was so rich that he was owning  around  800 acres of wet lands of  paddy fields  in addition to other dry lands and groves.He was cross  checking the tally of produce from different lands.The employees in charge of these matters like accoutants and other servants could not give convincing answers to him.
