                                                  KTV's physical personality and  mental stature made him very prominent in the affairs of  the community , and began to earn respect from every quarter; Not only his knowledge in Astrology but in his innate capacity to think fast and correct in solving others'  problems with great ease.He always took an advisoy roll  in all matters. of the vllage irrespective of community.Service mindedness and selflessness ,courage of conviction and confidence are some of  his basics.  I hope that he in fact had  the blessings of  his fore fathers which he had in fullest measure in addition to those of the Divine in both of which he had fullest faith.     

                                                In those days  the Agraharams in which  brahmins were residing consisted of broad  streets with two opposite rows of houses and the individual houses constructed so as to suit their job of learning Vedas. and promote their cultural activities.They  taught Vedas or otherwise taught in schools;Learning and teaching were their main activities.Generally they were dharmic.  ,  ,Though the name Kala suggests that it was full of thieves.  The villagers use to keep the doors open in the night times and sleep peacefully.     

                                                                        Almost all the houses the entrance hall was wide open bifurcated  into two raised platnforms of the same heights in such away that one can easily jump with his own efforts facing the opposite row and sit conveniently ,his legs hanging down But the difference in the platforms is regarding the length  only. One of the platforms will be of one foot only and the other platform will be too long ,IN BETWEEN THE the two platforms will  be entrance to the next hall with protective  main door with a key of fairly big size.  with one or two steps as required No iron barricades  with vertical  iron bars or wooden frames as we see nowadays.  .    KTV's house was not an exception.But before 1945  when  Komu's marriage was celebrated  ,the entrance hall was remodelled into one big hall with a cement floor with flower drawingswhat you are all seeing today.  Plotform got demolished .The iron barricades supported by wooden frames and entrance also    .We have to open the protective door  from a stepstone on the very street itself !  To decorate  the hall one big Mahalakshmi picture was hanged  right facing the entrance.'

                  KALAKAD THOTHA THRI VADYAR ( 3 )                                       NR had three daughters and no sons.The first son in law stayed with NR.  The second    daughter died young leaving a male child. The third daughter was living with her husband in a nearby village and made occasional visits to her parent's house. As time passed NR was checking the old records regarding his landed properties .He was so rich that he was owning  around  800 acres of wet lands of  paddy fields  in addition to other dry lands and groves.He was cross  checking the tally of produce from different lands.The employees in charge of these matters like accoutants and other servants could not give convincing answers to him.
